A chat with Slash
Tell us how your team works
Slash, our custom-built AI assistant, starts by getting to know the people behind your business.
In a chat of no more than 10 minutes, each team member tells Slash what their day-to-day work involves, which tools they use and which tasks take the most time.
No wrong answers, no judgement. What your team tells us helps us find a useful place to start.
-
Meet our team
Discuss ideas and agree on an implementation
We’ll review your answers and bring practical ideas for making your team’s work easier.
At the discovery meeting, we talk through how your team works, where the friction lies and what you would most like to make easier. We bring practical ideas based on our technical experience.
By the end of the meeting, we’ll agree three workflow ideas and choose one to implement during your free first month.

We get to work
Build and test the agreed solution
We use what your team has told us to design a practical solution for the workflow you’ve chosen.
Our developers build and test the agreed feature, checking that it works safely before your team uses it.
-
Hand over the goods
Show off our creation
Your team receives a straightforward way to access and use the feature.
We give you FREE access to this solution for a month and offer our support during this time on using this feature.
We give you a list of tasks we could improve for you and an idea of cost for implementation.

Come back for more
Review the result
We hope to have proved the value we can add to your business. We will discuss our ideas listed during our handover phase to decide what you would like next.
If you don’t see us as a good fit for your business, there is no obligation and nothing to pay.
Whenever you decide to sign up for your first paid month, we’ll implement the other two agreed workflows.
Meet Slash
Ten minutes
about your working day.
Slash, our custom-built AI assistant, asks each team member what their day-to-day work involves, which tools they use and which tasks take the most time.
Safeguards
You stay in control
from day one.
Decisions stay with your team. The workflow does only what we’ve agreed it can.
Read-only first
We generally favour read-only outputs as a starting point.
Approvals before actions
Actions affecting money, customers or business records require explicit discussion of controls and approvals.
Rules for numbers, AI for words
We reduce reliance on AI where precise rules or calculations are more appropriate, test the workflow and establish human review where needed.
Your data
Before implementation, we identify what information is needed, where it will be processed and which providers are involved. Access, retention, deletion and relevant data-processing terms are agreed as part of the implementation.
Before we put the kettle on
Fair questions
Straight answers.
Straight answers before you start.
Will our team be involved?
Yes. The people doing the work often understand its challenges and exceptions best. We involve relevant team members in discovery, testing and handover, with participation agreed in the scope. Their feedback helps us build something useful in practice, not just technically functional.
Will everyone need to become an AI expert?
No. We aim to make the day-to-day workflow straightforward. Your team receives guidance appropriate to their role, including what the workflow does, where its limits are and how to check or challenge its outputs.
Will the workflow take actions automatically?
Only within the agreed scope and permissions. We generally favour read-only outputs as a starting point. Actions affecting money, customers or business records require explicit discussion of controls and approvals.
What happens to our data?
Before implementation, we identify what information is needed, where it will be processed and which providers are involved. Access, retention, deletion and relevant data-processing terms are agreed as part of the implementation.
How long does an implementation take?
That depends on the workflow, available access and integration requirements. We aim to have your first workflow implemented within the first two weeks. We provide a delivery estimate after discovery. A narrow, well-understood process is the intended starting point; larger projects are scoped separately.

Tell us about your store, your systems or that one job nobody wants to do on a Monday. We’ll tell you honestly whether we can help.
